Mr. LaMera, who always had an interest in the automotive field, started Metro Auto Alarms of Elizabeth in 1985. He has built Metro into one of the largest wholesale & retail operations focusing of after market auto electronic installations in the tri-state area.

In his quest to better serve the public, Mr. LaMera established Metro Marketing in 1992, an import company that currently designs and imports state-of-the-art automobile alarm systems (The Untouchable).

Mr. LaMera's most recent success to date, is the inception of Metro Auto Electronics Training Institute. 

As a result of his knowledge of the industry and the lack of technical schools in the tri-state area, Mr. LaMera's main goal is for the Institute to be a mirror image of the knowledge and integrity he possesses and to instill these qualities into the students.
